FAQ's
1. Do you provide free
consultations? If not, how much do you charge?
We want to get to know you and understand your unique
situation. We offer an initial hour attorney (not paralegal)
consultation for $150.00. There is no obligation to retain
after this consultation, and we can answer most, if not all
of your questions during this initial meeting. Most people
feel better about their situation after speaking with the
attorney and being informed of their rights. Should you
decide to retain our services there are no future
consultation fees, you are only charged an hourly rate
against your retainer. For more fee information please
contact our office.
2. In what counties do you go
to Court?
I can practice law throughout the state. However, I focus
my practice on Pinal County and Maricopa County. As a
convenience there is also a satellite office in Apache
Junction to file documents for Pinal County, instead of
having to go to Florence every time something needs to be
filed.
3. What is your hourly fee?
The hourly fee depends on what type of case you have.
Please contact the office to discuss the fees in detail.
4. How long have you been
practicing family law?
Since 1994, over 15 years.
5. Are you an aggressive
attorney when it comes to going after the other party?
I zealously advocate for my clients. I work hard and
focus on getting a successful outcome in every case.
6. Are you a good communicator?
Will you respond to me quickly with questions?
Absolutely! This office thrives on communication with
clients and potential clients. My legal assistant and I do
everything possible to ensure that all calls/emails are
returned in a timely manner, as we are aware time is
critical in most cases. If we are unable to retain you as a
client due to scheduling conflicts or a practice area we
don’t practice, we do our best to guide you in the right
direction to an attorney that may be able to help you.
7. Does your office have a
notary? Is there a charge for notarized documents
Yes. Both myself and my legal assistant are notaries.
There is a very minimal fee for non-clients to have
documents notarized. If you are a current client you may
have documents notarized at our office anytime at no charge.
8. What forms of payment are
accepted for consultations and/or retainer fees?
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, cashier’s
checks and the following major debit/credit cards: Visa,
MasterCard & Discover.
9. What are your hours of
operation? Are you open on weekends?
We are open daily Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., taking lunch between Noon and 1:00 p.m. We are closed
on the weekends and major holidays. Should you need to
contact us outside business hours please contact the office
regarding special arrangements.
10. Do you have many recurring
clients?
Definitely! The great thing about being in practice since
1994 is that we are able to provide recurring services to
clients, whether to update something that was previously
prepared, or for an entirely different issue. We pride
ourselves on providing professional and courteous services
to our clients and building a strong relationship with all
clients.
